Ridley Scott rips MPAA a new one! Let speculations on the Prometheus rating commence

Dark clouds may be gathering over PROMETHEUS, or – more precisely – over its ongoing rating process. During a recent screening in London, director Ridley Scott had some very unflattering things to say about the Motion Picture Association of America and the manner in which the organization assigns their ratings:

“Films this year that have got PG-13 ratings – it’s absolutely f**king ludicrous”. Scott then went on to say that the MPAA should get its “house in order”.

Uh-oh. Does anybody feel an ominous R coming? It looks that way, especially considering the director’s statements on the movie’s rating from two weeks ago.

We’ll keep you posted on any new developments, as the movie approaches its planned release date of June 8th.
