If you’re counting down the days till the sci-fi action romp LOCKOUT hits theaters this Friday, why not kill some time watching the first few minutes of the flick!
The footage was released by Luc Besson’s own Europa Corp. studio, that handles the production on the film, and dare I say it’s quite the opening. Check it out below, unless you like to preserve a completely fresh experience for the theater.
If there’s anything to learn from the clip, it’s that Guy Pearce kicks some serious ass, both in the interrogation scene and the film’s first action set piece. Oh, and there’s Peter Stormare as well – what’s not to like? I have to say my personal hype-o-meter just witnessed a massive spike.
Set in the near future, Lockout follows a falsely convicted ex-government agent (Pearce), whose one chance at obtaining freedom lies in the dangerous mission of rescuing the President’s daughter (Grace) from rioting convicts at an outer space maximum security prison.
The movie stars Guy Pearce (MEMENTO, LA CONFIDENTIAL, THE HURT LOCKER), Maggie Grace (LOST, TAKEN), Vincent Regan (300, CLASH OF THE TITANS), Joseph Gilgun (HARRY BROWN) and Peter Stormare (FARGO, BIG LEBOWSKI) and will hit theaters April 13th.
