A FANTASTIC FEAR OF EVERYTHING is a quirky little British film with Simon Pegg that hasn’t gotten a whole lot of press around these parts, but that will change henceforth. Playing a neurotic author who thinks the entire world is out to kill him, Pegg frankly looks more at home here than he does in his big budget Hollywood efforts. But we love him no matter what he does. (Well, with the exception of RUN FATBOY RUN.) Pegg revealed the trailer himself via his Twitter feed, and you can grab an eyeful of it below.

Here’s the film’s synopsis: Jack is a children’s author turned crime novelist whose detailed research into the lives of Victorian serial killers has turned him into a paranoid wreck, persecuted by the irrational fear of being murdered. When Jack is thrown a life-line by his long-suffering agent and a mysterious Hollywood executive takes a sudden and inexplicable interest in his script, what should be his ‘big break’ rapidly turns into his ‘big breakdown’, as Jack is forced to confront his worst demons; among them his love life, his laundry and the origin of all fear.

Directed by Crispian Mills and Chris Hopewell, A FANTASTIC FEAR OF EVERYTHING also stars Amara Karen, Clare Higgins, Sheridan Smith and Alan Drake.
