William Brent Bell’s follow-up to THE DEVIL INSIDE is rolling along nicely. Last week it brought aboard its female lead – A.J. Cook – and now the male role has been filled.

Simon Quarterman, who starred in THE DEVIL INSIDE for Bell, has joined the werewolf thriller WER. There’s no telling what character Quarterman will portray, but he played the priest in THE DEVIL INSIDE and was also seen in THE SCORPION KING 3.

According to IMDB, Vik Sahay (“Chuck”) and Brian J. O’Connor are also in the film, which is gearing up for a shoot in Romania. Bell co-wrote with his partner Matthew Peterman.

In the film, a defense attorney is determined to clear the name of her client, Talan, who is the main suspect in the grisly multiple slaying of an American family. While Talan appears to be gentle on the surface, his attorney soon learns that Talan is actually a werewolf.
