I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: LOCKOUT could very well be the sleeper hit of the spring/summer movie season. It just looks like an action romp that’s determined not to take itself too seriously – a rare commodity. Plus, this is obviously the season of Guy Pearce

Our last peek at a clip from the Luc Besson-directed film featured a high-flying beatdown between Guy Pearce and a vicious convict. Now, thanks to an extended scene made available from the film, you can see that scene again and more! This 5-minutes of footage was shown at Wondercon last week and evidently the audience ate it up, so dig into it below for yourself.

Starring Guy Pearce and Maggie Grace and set in the near future, LOCKOUT follows a falsely convicted ex- government agent (Pearce), whose one chance at obtaining freedom lies in the dangerous mission of rescuing the President’s daughter (Grace) from rioting convicts at an outer space maximum security prison.

LOCKOUT opens on APRIL 13th. Hit up the official site HERE.
