Richard LaGravenese is hard at work on his new film, the romantic supernatural thriller BEAUTIFUL CREATURES he has setup at Alcon Entertainment. This month alone we heard Emmy Rossum, Thomas Mann and Jeremy Irons had all joined the flick, and now it seems another pair of TV actresses are making their way to the bash!

Variety has it that Margot Martindale (right) and Zoey Deutch (below) have joined BEAUTIFUL CREATURES. Martindale you may recognize from “Justified,” “Dexter” and a bunch of movies dating back to the late 80s. Deutch is a regular on “Ringer” and has only done one film prior, MAYOR CUPCAKE.

Before we specify their roles, here’s the skinny:

BEAUTIFUL CREATURES is set in the South about two star-crossed teenage lovers – a local boy (Jack O’Connell), and a mysterious new girl (Alice Englert) who uncover dark secrets about their families, their history and their town.

Martindale will play Lena’s Aunt Del, who helps to protect her from the family’s dark side. Deutch will play Emily Asher, Ethan’s ex-girlfriend and the ringleader of the high school’s popular clique that conspires against Lena.

BEAUTIFUL CREATURES – also starring Viola Davis and Emma Thompson – bows February 1, 2013.
