Whenever there’s a flick that throws together various notable names from our beloved genre we feel we just have to tell you about it. I mean chances are the thing is going to be pretty solid, right? Well if the goods we see today are any indication COMPOUND FRACTURE might just have some potential!
That’s right folks, I’m here to tell you about COMPOUND FRACTURE, a flick heading our way from Mane Entertainment and director A.J. Rickert-Epstein. Renae Geerlings and Tyler Mane penned the script. Yes, that’s Tyler “Michael Myers” Mane from Rob Zombie’s recent HALLOWEEN films. But what’s this little diddy about? Check it:
Michael Silna has just gotten custody of his only sister’s son after she was murdered by her husband before his very eyes. To fulfill his sister’s dying wish, Michael takes his nephew and wife and makes the journey home to his only other living relative: his estranged, eccentric (and extremely paranoid) father who is obsessed with building an unassailable compound.
Once there, Michael hopes to repair his shattered family, but instead he finds that they are all trapped inside his father’s creation when the ghost of his vengeful brother-in-law returns to wipe out the rest of the Silna family.
Sounds decent enough, right? Well thankfully we don’t just have that synopsis to run off of with this one! We’ve also got some teaser art and a teaser trailer for this shindig! Natch! Both goods can be found directly below with the trailer also up in our videos section.
Not only did Mane pen this thing but he is also set to star in the film alongside fellow genre vets Derek Mears (“Jason Voorhees”), Muse Watson (“The Fisherman”), Dan Roebuck, Todd Farmer, Renae Geerlings, Alex Saxon and Susan Angelo.
