Just a couple days ago I was telling you all how Bryan Fuller and NBC were gearing up to start a drama series based on the great ‘Hannibal Lecter’ and here we are with more Fuller/NBC news for you guys!

According to Deadline Hollywood it seems the long-awaited reboot of “The Munsters” is finally gaining some momentum. Stemming from a deal that’s been in the works since last year, Fuller just delivered his draft for the series last week and there’s some pretty positive buzz surrounding it. So much so that NBC might order up the series as early as this week! Not too shabby.

NBC are toying around with the idea of making “The Munsters” a new summer or event series, with the project expected to feature striking visuals mixed with all the classic Munsters archetypes.

Grandpa Sam Dracula is essentially Dracula who assembled Herman because no man was good enought for his daughter Lily, a sexy vamp. Lily’s niece Marilyn the freak is actually normal and Lily and Herman’s only child, Eddie, has his werewolf tendencies surface in puberty, forcing the family to relocate to their famous 1313 Mockingbird Lane address.

So there you have it folks. Looks like we might have yet another genre show to talk about very soon. Are you guys digging a reboot of “The Munsters?” Spit some bullets below and let us know as we wait for more updates from this one to come our way.
