I really thought the trailer for THE DARKEST HOUR was a whole lot of fun; the flick looks like it’s just a crazy, energetic thrill ride. Having been on the set (read part one of my set visit article HERE), I can attest that the creative team wanted very badly to deliver unique, action-packed rollercoaster. Fingers crossed that they’ve succeeded.

Today we found a new Russian one-sheet for the sci-fi thriller, which you can see below. As the film’s producer and creative guide is the Russian-born Timur Bekmambetov, and the flick is set in Moscow, you’d better believe the country is probably pumped to see their capital get blown to bits by alien invaders.

Starring Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella, Rachael Taylor and Joel Kinnaman, THE DARKEST HOUR hits theaters in the U.S. on Christmas Day.
