So it’s the beginning of the week and genre news isn’t flowing as freely as one would hope so I’ve decided to take a trip down the road less traveled, time to tell you guys about some intriguing international horror!
It seems there’s a flick about to hit China called SCARY MARKET, which is set to hit just in time for the Halloween season. What is SCARY MARKET about? Well basically exactly what the title says: Horror in a supermarket!
It’s a trend we’re pretty familiar with, considering we’ve been talking about that sharks-in-a-supermarket flick BAIT 3D for a while now. But this time we don’t have sharks browsing the isles and isles of delicious treats… oh no. This time it’s the undead!
Mainland Chinese horror-comedy Scary Market features babe starlet Athena Chu as a machine gun wielding zombie killer in dire trouble, as her mundane world of a grocery store employee is turned upside down by a Zombie invasion.
Along with Chu (below) the flick is also set to star Cheung Tat-Ming, Li Fei-er and Liao Jian. I’ve gone ahead and tossed up the trailer for this zombie romp below with stills from the flick available right over HERE.
