Victor Salva preparing Haunted, a Dead Zone ripoff?

Victor Salva has his latest offering, ROSEWOOD LANE, in the bag and ready for delivery, and is currently prepping – as always – a new JEEPERS CREEPERS movie. However, before that goes forth, it sounds like he’s readying another project. One that’s vaguely familiar…

According to Bloody Disgusting, Salva will soon begin production on HAUNTED, a thriller about a young man who inexplicably sees how people will die after touching them. No word on whether or not Stephen King will be getting royalties for what sounds like a blatant lift from his DEAD ZONE premise.
