Hot on the heels of the news that Casey Affleck will be playing the archangel Gabriel in Alex Proyas’ PARADISE LOST comes some more casting hubbub, this in regard to the crucial roles of Adam & Eve.

Camilla Belle (WHEN A STRANGER CALLS) is on deck to play that minx Eve, while Diego Boneta (“90210”) is being looked at for the role of Adam.

Keep in mind that the trades are noting that these deals are not yet locked, only close to being so. If it indeed goes down, the duo will join Affleck, Bradley Cooper, Benjamin Walker and Djimon Hounsou in the ambitious project.

Inspired by the epic 17th-century poem by John Milton,
PARADISE LOST tells the story of the epic war in heaven between archangels Michael and Lucifer, including the latter’s role in Adam and Eve’s fall from grace.

The film has an unspecified 2013 release date.
