Remember this flick, FADING OF THE CRIES? Most likely not. You’d probably be surprised to know that it actually received a theatrical release this past July. (A severely limited release, but a release nonetheless.) The inevitable rapid descent onto home video is almost here, as Lionsgate has announced a NOVEMBER 15th DVD/Digital Download release. It hits On Demand on NOVEMBER 1st.

Sarah (Hallee Hirsh), a teenage girl, finds an ancient necklace that belonged to her Uncle. The necklace unknowingly unleashes Mathias (Brad Dourif), the malevolent evil that has been searching for the relic. Dark forces invade her small town sending hordes of demonic creatures to find Sarah and bring back the necklace. It’s up to Jacob (Jordan Matthews, feature film debut), armed with a powerful sword to bring Sarah home and save mankind from destruction.

The DVD will contain a behind-the-scenes featurette and nothing else.

Directed by Brian Metcalf, FADING OF THE CRIES also stars Thomas Ian Nicholas, Jessica Morris and Mackenzie Rosman.
