Rod Lurie’s remake of Sam Peckinpah’s STRAW DOGS hits in a few weeks, and now we’re starting to get an idea what it looks like. Just a couple of days ago we showed you Kate Bosworth giving James Marsden shit for being a coward, and today we have two more clips to share. Here we get an idea of the tension simmering between Marsden and his new neighbors – specifically Alexander Skarsgard’s character, Charlie. Question now is: Are these clips making the film’s case?

Check out the clips below. The first asks, “Can I get by?” while the second warns, “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife”. I’ve also added the clip we saw last week for good measure.

The plot: David and Amy Sumner, a Hollywood screenwriter and his actress wife, return to her small hometown in the deep South to prepare the family home for sale after her father’s death. Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, including Amy’s ex-boyfriend Charlie, leading to a violent confrontation.

Also starring Dominic Purcell, Walton Goggins and James Woods, STRAW DOGS unloads on SEPTEMBER 16th.
