It’s no secret that there could possibly be a new TERMINATOR flick on the way and that it’s highly likely the film would star Arnold Schwarzenegger.. but what else might a new TERMINATOR flick have in store for us?
Well according to filmmaker Justin Lin, who has already been tapped to direct a 5th TERMINATOR film, we might see some other familiar faces. Well character faces that is. You see in a recent interview with Moviehole Lin went ahead and hinted at the possiblity of a return for ‘Sarah Connor’, the beloved heroine of the first two films. This is what Lin had to say:
“Yeah, exactly. And I think that you know if the right version, if you go back to the thematic drives of the first one especially, I think that’s a way to be able to reengage with that franchise. … I mean, Sarah Connor is such a big part of the franchise, you know. Yeah, I mean I’ve always been surprised how in part 3 she was just like… It was like one line and she was gone. … Yeah, like leukemia and… But I think the great thing about this franchise is you have… You can actually have different canons because you have the element of time travel. So, there’s a way of kind of respecting all the works but also able to create a new time line.”
Alright so he’s not really saying much about if he wants to see ‘Sarah Connor’ again but at least it’s in the man’s thoughts, right? What says you guys?
