We learned back in January that Dario Argento’s DEEP RED would be out on special edition DVD and Blu-ray this month, but Blue Underground has pushed back the release to May 17. The DVD will be the first to feature the uncensored English-language version of the 1975 giallo classic, while the Blu-ray will include that along with the Italian director’s cut.
The new cover art is pictured to the right. Special features on both discs include interviews with director/co-writer Dario Argento, co-writer Bernardino Zapponi and composers Goblin (Claudio Simonetti, Massimo Morante, Fabio Pignatelli and Agostino Marangolo), as well as trailers and music videos.
