J.J. Abrams’ highly anticipated SUPER 8 is getting ready to drop in less than two months and only now are we seeing the first official still from the flick. Seriously?

Let’s be honest though, it’s not like it matters right? We’ve seen countless trailers for this thing already so what good is a couple stills going to do? By now you’re either stoked for SUPER 8 or you’re not, and let’s face it… You are. With that being said you can go ahead and scroll below for a look at the first still from the flick. While nothing to exciting here we do get a good look at a couple of the film’s characters, so you can take that for what it’s worth I suppose.

In the summer of 1979, where a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.

SUPER 8 is set to hit theaters everywhere on June 10th and stars Elle Fanning, Amanda Michalka (below), Kyle Chandler, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich and Gabriel Basso.
