One flick that seems to be moving pretty damn fast through pre-production is Rob Zombie’s THE LORDS OF SALEM. I mean we basically just got finished showing you all a bunch of shots from scouting locations for the flick and now here I am with a rundown of what the flick is about!
About time right? Well the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting learned the full plot details for LORDS OF SALEM and were kind enough to share them with the world. Want the goods? Yeah you do. Check it:
The story is about a local DJ who mistakenly unleashes a hellish curse on the town. 300 years earlier on the very streets of Salem that the townspeople walk on today, innocent folks were rounded up from their homes, convicted of being witches and sentenced to death. The Lords of Salem ran the town with an iron fist, but four witches who were tortured and killed in secrecy vowed that one day they would be back for revenge.
Interesting stuff. It sounds like a generic witch flick but with Rob Zombie’s personal twist I’m sure it’ll be anything but. Now Rob Zombie’s flicks don’t blow me away or anything, but I do enjoy them, so I’m definitely keeping an open mind on this one.
