Earlier this month I hit you guys with the news that Julianna Moore was lining up to possibly join Jeff Bridges in Sergei Bodrov’s exorcism flick THE SEVENTH SON. Now that’s all fine and dandy but apparently neither Bridges or Moore are officially signed for the film, though I’m pretty sure it’s a safe bet. But what about the rest of the cast?
The project calls for a couple of younger talents for the roles of ‘Tom’ and ‘Alice,’ which have obviously yet to be cast. Though it seems those roles won’t stay un-cast for long! According to Variety the young talent of Hollywood is marching right up in line to read for said roles. Who exactly are we talking about? Sam Claflin, Caleb Landry-Jones and James Frecheville are all eyeing the roll of ‘Tom’ while Imogen Poots (above), Felicity Jones (below), Alicia Vikander, Gabrielle Wild and Dianna Agron all battle it out for the role of ‘Alice.’
Apparently testing for these two roles was postponed so there could be some rewrites on the script to help secure Bridges. You gotta do what you gotta do right?
