We’re a little over two weeks away folks. Two weeks until we finally get to see what Wes Craven has in store for us with SCREAM 4. I’ve expressed how excited I am for this thing several times, but regardless I am keeping a cool head. I understand that this could indeed suck so I’m trying not to get my hopes too high. But it’s SCREAM 4! How can I not, right?
Today we’ve got a juicy little clip from the flick that not only pays homage to the original film but could also be considered a bit of a spoiler. You see in the new clip a character’s death is revealed, but it’s not a main character… Or at least I don’t think it is. So take that for what it’s worth. Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill and her Aunt Kate. Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.
SCREAM 4’s cast includes Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, David Arquette, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Marielle Jaffe, Rory Culkin, Erik Knudsen, Marley Shelton, Anthony Anderson, Adam Brody, Alison Brie (below), Mary McDonnell, Anna Paquin and Kristen Bell. Pretty sure I could read off that list in my sleep by now. It hits theaters everywhere on April 15th!
