Werewolves know how to party in the new horror/comedy Party of Wolves

Truth be told I’m kind of surprised we haven’t heard about this next project sooner. A werewolf comedy? Can’t really go wrong with that can they? Just look at Wes Craven’s CURSED! … Oh that wasn’t supposed to be a comedy? … Alrighty then.

The project I’m talking about today is a Spanish film called LOBOS DE ARGA (PARTY OF WOLVES) and is coming our way courtesy of filmmaker Juan Martínez Moreno. Want the rundown on this bad boy? Of course you do!

After 15 years Tomas, a not very successful writer, comes back to the village in Galicia where his family comes from, Arga, apparently to get an award. But he doesn’t know the real reason why he is there: to end an old curse that has been haunting the village for the last hundred years.

So what do you think? Any potential? Sounds like we’re going to have to wait for a trailer to really see how this one feels. Unfortunately I don’t have a trailer for you all today but what I do have is a few stills for you guys to gawk at! I’ve tossed a couple up above and below but you’ll want to click through on either shot to get a look at the rest over at Aullidos.

PARTY OF WOLVES stars Carlos Areces, Mabel Rivera, Secun de la Rosa, Manuel Manquiña, Luis Zahera and Gorka Otxoa. No telling when this one will be released, either here in the US or internationally, but you can bet we’ll keep our eyes open for more on the horror/comedy!
