So how are you guys feeling about this FRIGHT NIGHT remake? To be honest I found this thing to be getting more and more intriguing… That is until I read this early review for the flick. Let’s just say… Ouch!
A generous fan was lucky enough to catch a test screening of the film recently in Orange, California and was kind enough to send his thoughts in to KillerFilm. Let’s just say he didn’t like the movie. .5 out of 5 stars. That’s a major hit right there folks.
“Fright Night 3D, more like unnecessary post-conversion 3D, is in such a hurry that it forgets to tell any kind of story. There is absolute zero character development as the cardboard actors just go through the motion and it’s painful.”

Then again folks this is only one opinion. So if you were really looking forward to FRIGHT NIGHT I wouldn’t let this one review get you down. Alas if reviews much like this one start pumping out as we get closer to FRIGHT NIGHT’s release date… Well then you may want to rethink things.
Charlie Brewster’s beginning his senior year of high school and things are finally falling into place: he’s grown a few inches, gained a few pounds and he’s now dating the most coveted girl in school. But trouble arrives when Jerry moves in next door. He seems like a cool guy, but beneath the surface, there’s something off about him – something intimidating. And after observing some very strange activity along with the mysterious disappearance of his best friend, Charlie comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire who’s preying on the neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone of what he knows, Charlie is going to have to come face to face with the monster himself.
The FRIGHT NIGHT remake is coming our way from director Craig Gillespie and stars Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin, Toni Collette, Imogen Poots (below), Christopher Mintz-Plasse and David Tennant. It’s set to hit theaters everywhere on August 19th in all it’s 3D glory!
