You guys remember Marcel Sarmiento and Gadi Harel’s intriguing little flick DEADGIRL? The film was turning heads a couple years ago and has since been released and forgotten. Now apparently there’s been talk of a sequel to the successful indie flick but things just haven’t been able to come together. So what’s the deal?
Well scribe Trent Haaga, who penned the first film, does have a script done for a sequel though it seems there’s no real movement on it. Word has it the second film would center on a group of females finding an undead naked male this time around, making different decisions then the first group made in the first film. Then again I’m also hearing that the ‘Deadgirl’ from the first film, played by Jenny Spain (below), would be returning in the sequel, if it was to ever get made.
Fact is there’s no greenlight on DEADGIRL 2 so all this is just talk until something starts to happen. What says you guys? Would you be down for a DEADGIRL 2?
