The last update we got on ABC’s upcoming genre series “Poe” came last month when we learned that Leslie Odom Jr. had joined the project.
Here I am today with even more casting news to get you guys pumped! Not only do we have a smoking hottie joining the project but we’ve also got word on who’ll be playing the titular ‘Edgar Allan Poe!’ According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed blog Mr. Christopher Egan (right) has just secured the role as the legendary poet. Also joining the series will be Kevin McNally and the gorgeous Tabrett Bethell (below)! Not too shabby huh?
The crime procedural centers on the world’s first detective, Edgar Allan Poe, who uses unconventional means to uncover mysteries. The series is set in Boston during the 1840s.
No telling when “Poe” will get rolling but you can be sure when more updates roll our way we’ll pass them along to all of you.
