Now here’s a pretty cool piece of interactive promotion…

Over at Sony’s official Facebook page, the studio is offering a cool chance for any of you lucky fans to create your own trailer for the upcoming release of PRIEST, the religious-horror joint starring Paul Bettany and Maggie Q. Check it…

By simply heading over HERE and clicking on the “Make Movies” tab, you can enter the challenge and get started on crafting your very own PRIEST trailer. If selected as the winning product, you’ll win a trip to Hollywood for the premiere of the movie. There’s also runner-up prizes.

The details:

The tool allows fans to create their own trailer using movie content including video clips, sound effects, music, and video transitions. In phase 1 of the challenge, users are invited to create and enter their videos, or browse others’ creations. In phase 2, ten finalists are selected and the Facebook community is invited to vote on the #1 trailer. The winner and a guest gets a trip to the PRIEST Premiere, the remaining finalists receive Sony Bloggie Touch + 4 movie tickets, and just for voting, 10 lucky people from amongst the voters will be randomly selected to win a Sony Cyber-shot camera.

Pretty f*ckin’ cool, right? But don’t believe this ugly schlub, take it from the sexy star of the film, Maggie Q:

So what are you waiting for? Hop on over to Sony’s Facebook page and start working on your remixed version of the PRIEST trailer!

The lovely Ms. Q!
