Well here’s a pretty random piece of news coming our way via Tokyo Graph – Apparently Kadokawa Pictures miss that creepy ass ‘Sadako’ from the RINGU films so they’re moving forward on a brand new flick titled SADAKO 3D.

This one’s coming out of left field, right? Not many details are known on the project right now but what we do know is that the author of THE RING novels Koji Suzuki will be penning the script for SADAKO 3D. Said script will be a completely new story and is due for release sometime next year. According to Suzuki the film will of course feature a 3D shot of ‘Sadako’ crawling out of a television set. Seems like this is the exact situation 3D was created for, right?

Unfortunately those are all the details we’re given on SADAKO 3D but you can bet your ass we’ll be keeping our eyes on this one. As soon as more news breaks on the Japanese flick you can be sure we’ll tell you about it!
