Well folks it seems Robert Hall’s sequel CHROMESKULL: LAID TO REST 2 is moving right along with news breaking today that Image Entertainment have gone and snatched up North American distribution rights for the project.
This is definitely good news and means we may be seeing that chrome-plated bastard back to his dastardly ways sooner rather than later. Unfortunately that’s all the news we’re given today but I’m sure a release date will spin our way soon.
ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2 picks up three months after the end of the first film. Tommy, who’s struggling with vivid memories of his first encounter with the masked killer, has been abducted by Preston, who harbors a mysterious connection to ChromeSkull. Meanwhile, the technologically saavy slasher — he videotapes his victims as he’s killing them — has set his sights on Jess, and after the young girl disappears, Detective King races against time to find her and Tommy before it’s too late and try to put an end to ChromeSkull’s blood-soaked legacy.
