Image Entertainment will release THE VIOLENT KIND on DVD and Blu-ray on May 10th. Check out the cover art below. Special features will include deleted scenes, a making-of featurette, and the trailer. Here is the plot:
A ruthless pack of unstoppable psychopaths who terrorize the wilds of Northern California have their eyes on young Cody, the member of a notorious biker gang whose ex-girlfriend, Michelle, turns up hysterical, drenched in blood… and carrying a dark, terrifying secret.
The cover boasts about coming from the producers of HALLOWEEN and THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, but perhaps more interesting to any genre fan is that the film is written and directed by The Butcher Brothers (THE HAMILTONS). It stars Cory Knauf, Taylor Cole, Bret Roberts, Christina Prousalis, Tiffany Shepis, Joseph McKelheer, Samuel Child, Nick Tagas, Mackenzie Firgens, Ilea Matthews and Joe Egender.
