Filmax’s KIDNAPPED opens in its native Spain on February 25th. Below you can check out the domestic poster below under its Spanish title, SECUESTRADOS. Also included is the subtitled trailer, in case you missed it. Here is the synopsis:
Jaime, Marta and their daughter Isa have just moved into a luxurious new house. Marta begins to prepare the dinner and puts a bottle of champagne on ice to celebrate the move. As night falls, three hooded men violently force their way into the house. Panic ensues and soon the real violence will begin.
The brutal psychological thriller is directed by Miguel Ángel Vivas, who co-wrote the script with Javier García. It stars Fernando Cayo, Guillermo Barrientos, Dritan Biba, Martijn Kuiper, Ana Wagener and Manuela Velles (below).
The film premiered at Fantastic Fest last September, where The Arrow enjoyed it so much that it ended up on his Top 10 of 2010 list. The North American rights were recently acquired by IFC Films, so hopefully we’ll hear some details about a U.S. release soon.
