With his latest picture, UNKNOWN, opening this month, a few details on Jaume Collet-Serra’s next project have been revealed. He is currently attached to direct a new Dracula movie, tentatively being called BRAM STOKER’S DRACULA PROJECT.
A spec script has been written by Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy. The film is being proudced by Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way. All other details are being kept under wraps for now, but we’ll keep you updated.
Collet-Serra is no stranger to the genre, having helmed ORPHAN and HOUSE OF WAX. Shipman and McGreevy, meanwhile, seem to have knack for putting a new twist on old stories; they penned the upcoming CAPTAIN BLOOD remake, which is set in space.
