After a bit of confusion, the After Dark Originals hit theaters this past weekend. As previously reported, those made in conjunction with Syfy – HUSK and AREA 51 – will be playing on the network. HUSK is set to premiere this Saturday, February 5th, at 9 PM with an encore presentation at 1 AM. Check out a promo video below.

When a murder of crows smash into the windshield causing their car to crash, a group of young friends, inside, are forced to abandon the vehicle. Stranded beside a desolate cornfield, they see a light on in a window and decide to go in search of help. They head into the fields but instead of finding sanctuary they discover something evil and unnatural lurking in the corn.

HUSK is written and directed by Brett Simmons, as based on his short film of the same name. It stars Devon Graye (“Dexter”), Wes Chatham, C.J. Thomason (“Harper’s Island”), Tammin Sursok (below), and Ben Easter (I’LL ALWAYS KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER).

The film will hit DVD along with the rest of the After Dark Originals on March 29th. Pre-order the disc HERE.
