Do you have any idea how long it’s been since we last heard an update on David R. Ellis’ alien slasher flick HUMPTY DUMPTY? Nearly two years! Back in May 2009 was the last time we talked about this little diddy and here I am today to finally give you all somewhat of an update on it!
Now mind you today’s news isn’t anything worth writing home about but it’s got to be a step in the right direction. Word coming at us today has Drac Studios’ Harvey Lowry joining the project as executive producer. He joins the already announced Mark Ordesky and Suzanne de Passe. Perhaps this news means HUMPTY DUMPTY will start coming together finally (pun definitely intended). Ellis is hard at work right now on his 3D shark movie, which was previously titled SHARK NIGHT 3D, and then his plans are to start work on the slasher THE BRIAR LAKE MURDERS. Hopefully once those two projects are out of the way the filmmaker will start concentrating on Mr. Dumpty here.
HUMPTY DUMPTY follows a half-human, half-alien creature who embarks on a murderous rampage after his alien mother is abused by two rednecks in the Deep South.
