Y’all get a chance to peep that new INSIDIOUS teaser we shot at you this past weekend? What’d you think?

Well, as high on the film as our very own ARROW WAS, it’s seems the MPAA has reviewed and rated the new thriller from the SAW director. And guess what, it’s not too favorable for all us hardened horror heads. The film’s been tagged with a PG-13 rating for “thematic material, violence, terror and frightening images, and brief strong language.”

I guess it’s not too far of a stretch, INSIDIOUS is the first feature production for FilmDistrict…so they’re gonna wanna play to the widest audience possible.

Co-written with Wan with longtime collaborator Leigh Whannell, INSIDIOUS revolves around a that family looks to prevent evil spirits from trapping their comatose child in a realm called The Further.

Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne (below), Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey, Angus Sampson, Ty Simpkins, Andrew Astor and J. La Rose all take part in the picture.

INSIDIOUS opens wide April 1st.
