One international poster for DYLAN DOG: DEAD OF NIGHT was released almost exactly one month ago, and now another teaser one-sheet has hit the net. Check it out below. It’s in Italian, but zombies know no language barriers. Make no mistake: the flick was made in America. Hopefully we’ll start seeing more domestic news soon.
DYLAN DOG will chronicle the adventures of supernatural private eye, Dylan Dog, who seeks out the monsters of the Louisiana bayou in his signature red shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans. In the film Dylan Dog is forced back into his nightmare investigations after he is approached by a woman who claims to have seen her father brutally murdered by a mysterious creature. With his street smarts, his gun, and a set of paranormal weapons, Dylan attempts to restore order both above and below ground.
The movie features an impressive cast, including Brandon Routh (SUPERMAN RETURNS), Taye Diggs (THE HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL), Sam Huntington (FANBOYS), Peter Stormare (FARGO), Anita Briem (JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH), Brian Steele (PREDATORS), Courtney Shay Young (below), and professional wrestler Kurt Angle.
DYLAND DOG is directed by Kevin Munroe (TMNT) and scripted by the team of Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer (A SOUND OF THUNDER), who adapted the story from the comic book series by Tiziano Sclavi. The film hits theaters in Italy on March 18th, but there’s still no word of a Stateside release yet.
