Well folks it seems MUTANT CHRONICLES director Simon Hunter is a busy man. Not only does the filmmaker have one project in the works… He’s got several! But I’m only here to talk about the most recent two that’ve been announced courtesy of the director’s official website. So what are the two films in question? Check it.
First up we’ve got a flick called FULL MOON FEVER heading our way with Hunter at the helm. The project is an adaptation of Joe Casey’s graphic novel series. Hunter describes this shite as “…a real high concept fun movie. Think of it as Dog Soldiers in space!” Ready for some details? Of course you are!
Set in the not-too-distant future, FULL MOON FEVER follows a group of blue-collar workers that are sent to repair the deserted first lunar base on the dark side of the moon; they soon discover they’re not alone as they fall prey to a pack of ravenous werewolves.
Not too shabby, right? And the second film Hunter has heading our way is something called THE OBITUARY, which the director is working on with producer Tim Dennison and scribe Andy Brigg. Scope out the rundown for THE OBITUARY:
The story tells of a series of murders that are foretold in the obituary columns of the daily newspaper.
Simple… yet highly intriguing, no? Now unfortunately this is the only info we have for these two projects at the moment but hopefully some more news pops up soon! As always as soon as we score any updates for FULL MOON FEVER and/or THE OBITUARY we’ll be quick to pass the good word along to all of you.
