During my daily travels through the interwebs today I stumbled across an intriguing little slasher flick that I just had to tell you about. Actually… little isn’t a word I should use at all. More like gigantic!
You see folks I’m talking about the under-the-radar slasher flick BUNYAN. Yes, it’s exactly what you think it is but let me hit you all with the synopsis anyway:
The movie is a dark, contemporary take on the tall tale of lumberjack Paul Bunyan. Kids at a first-time offenders’ boot camp discover that the legend of Paul Bunyan is real but is much more horrifying than they could have imagined. They incur the wrath of the 15-foot monstrous giant, who was banished from town 100 years ago and thought dead.

Pretty intriguing right? BUNYAN comes at us from director Gary Jones and stars Joe Estevez, Tom Downey, Tim Lovelace, Jesse Kove, Amber Connor, Cliff Williams, Victoria Ramos, Kristina Kopf, Jill Evyn and Dan ‘Grizzly Adams’ Haggerty. Robert Kurtzman’s Creature Corps are handling effects on this bad boy with Jeff Miller producing.
