Bradley Cooper is addicted to being a genius in the new Limitless trailer

I was kind of hard on Relativity Media when they changed the name of THE DARK FIELDS to LIMITLESS, but now that I’ve watched the trailer for the thriller, I guess I get it. After all, there isn’t a single field to be found! Instead the tale of a guy who smartens up thanks to drugs is quite shiny and urban and has the look of a dozen other slick thrillers… A field or two would actually be welcome.

I still think the title is completely uninspired, but that’s fitting, as based on the trailer the film doesn’t have a whole lot to say about becoming a genius overnight. The dude buys some fancy clothes and a killer apartment. Saw it in WALL STREET – which seems to have inspired this story in a couple ways. In any event, check it out for yourself below.

Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro star in Limitless, a paranoia-fueled action thriller about an unpublished writer whose life is transformed by a top-secret smart drug that allows him to use 100% of his brain and become a perfect version of himself. His enhanced abilities soon attract shadowy forces that threaten his new life in this darkly comic and provocative film.

LIMITLESS opens on MARCH 18th.
