Now here’s one of the better trailers I’ve seen in awhile!

By better, you know I mean downright disturbing…dare I even say scary. Imagine that for a modern day horror film…

DARK SOULS (Mørke sjeler), a nasty Norwegian zombie-slasher joint from Cesar Ducasse and Mathieu Peteul, is a flick we’ve shamefully never heard of until now. It has that raw, gritty, low-budget horror feel from the 70s and 80s we all know and love. No whack artifice and “look at me” CGI, it’s old school horror done right!

Written by the pair who directed, DARK SOULS follows:

A revengeful father who embarks on a dark thrill ride of lost memories, conspiracy and zombie-like symptoms. Finding the mysterious darkness within is the source of the bizarre world he has uncovered.

Vague, I know…but the trailer and grip of stills we have for you below you should give you a better idea what this bad boy is all about.

Morten Ruda, Kyrre Haugen Sydness, Ida Elise Broch and Johanna Gustavsson make the principal cast.
