The film comes from cult Chilean filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky. Although the holiday season is upon us, the movie has nothing to do with old Saint Nick. The title translates to Holy Blood and is the name of a church in the trippy flick. Here is the plot:
Felix, a circus mime artist, has spent years in an asylum after witnessing his father cutting his mother Concha’s arms off. Upon his return to the now deranged Concha, Felix has to do her bidding. This involves murdering every woman with whom he comes into contact. When Concha orders Felix to murder Alma, his childhood sweetheart, he attempts to resist.
