It seems everybody wants a piece of the ‘found footage’ craze that’s been hitting the industry lately. I say this because Korean director Lee Cheol-ha has his own entry into the sub-genre gearing up to hit Singapore theaters this week called THE HAUNTED HOUSE PROJECT.
It’s interesting to note that the flick originally opened in Korea a few months back as THE DESERTED HOUSE. Why the title change for the Singapore release? Who knows. Fact is this shite is coming and not only do we have the details on this bad Larry but we’ve also got an English subbed trailer for the flick! Natch! First let’s go ahead and scope out the synopsis:
Over the course of forty two years, six went missing, eight had unexplained accidents and eleven were murdered. Three haunted house club members and three camera crew decide to look into this infamously haunted house, known to be possessed by real ghosts. Ignoring all signs from the other world, they enter this haunted house and disappear without a trace. Video footage of what they saw during their visit was later recovered, which may reveal why and how they met their end.
