First promo for Syfy’s Being Human hits the web; premiere date set

I’m not a big watcher of Syfy original series (I much prefer their brilliant movies) but “Being Human” looks kind of cool. I realize that it’s not completely “original” – they’ve just remade a British show like we do here in the States all the time – but it seems to have a fun spirit… pun intended.

“Being Human” follows three twentysomethings, a ghost, a vampire and a werewolf who are struggling to keep their dark secrets from the world, while also helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives. Starring in the show are Sam Witwer (Smallville, Battlestar Galactica), Meaghan Rath (The Assistants), Sam Huntington (Cavemen, Superman Returns) and Mark Pellegrino (Lost, Supernatural).
