Chances are if you’re reading this then you’re a fan of director Brad Anderson. How can you not be? The man’s films are smart and twisted at the same time! Point blank, the man is talented. So when there’s news roaming around regarding his latest project you can bet your ass we’re going to tell you about it!
Now we actually told you about Anderson’s next film way back in May, a project called JACK. At the time it seemed like John Cusak was lined up to star in the film but considering today’s update that may not be the case any longer. You see according to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting there’s a new actor being eyed for the titular role and his name is Liev Schreiber. Apparently Samuel L. Jackson is also being considered for a role in the film. Now I can definitely see Schreiber nailing this one but as a huge fan of Cusak’s I was stoked to see home taking a role like this… But alas it seems it wasn’t meant to be.
JACK follows a doctor who falls for a patient suffering from memory loss, completely unaware of the victim’s violent history as a methodical serial killer. As his memories being to surface, Jack begins to piece together the fragments of his past and realizes his true identity.
