Personally I find PHANTASM to be a genre classic that did nothing but impress me. So when I hear that the film’s creator is working on another project, you can be sure we here at AITH are going to take notice!
I’m of course talking about writer/director Don Coscarelli, who according to his lastest ‘tweets,’ is working on a brand new project. But what could it be? Unfortunately nobody knows but why don’t you scope out the ‘tweets’ for yourself:
“Writing from an undisclosed location.”
“Pre-production begins.”
Those were posted in the last 24 hours and as you can see the man doesn’t offer much detail, but does it matter? Of course not! I don’t know about you guys but Don Coscarelli alone is enough to at least tug on my interest for this. Could it be a new PHANTASM project?
I suppose the possibilites are endless and hopefully sometime soon we’ll find out exactly what Coscarelli (above) is so secretively working on. As always as soon as we hear something regarding Coscarelli and his mystery project we’ll let you guys know!
