So it seems Paramount are finally kicking into gear with their advertising for next month’s PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2. About time they joined the party. The host of other genre flicks hitting theaters next month have been pimping stuff out for weeks and it seems like PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 has just realized it’s September. I mean the thing hits theaters in just over a month and all we’ve seen for it is a website, a teaser trailer, a poster and one still. Come on!
Unfortunately that rant is for no reason because today’s update doesn’t offer up any new goods either. Instead we’ve got more news about Eventful’s ‘Demand it!’ thing going on with the film. We recently learned that you can Demand your city to be one of the Top 20 that’ll receive advanced screenings of the supernatural sequel. Now comes the news that Paramount will be throwing screening parties in said Top 20 cities! Natch! Who wouldn’t want to party the day away in anticipation of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2? That’s what I thought.
The event, titled Stay Up All Night With PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2, will start on October 20th at midnight in 20 cities across the country. If your city is one of the Top 20 that demanded to see PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 you’ll be treated to an advanced screening of the flick, free admission and free popcorn and soda! Free is always good so it looks like you can’t go wrong with this one.
