Whether you like him, love him or hate his guts there’s no denying Rob Zombie delivers something.. unique to our beloved genre. Sure the man has his haters out there, and he obviously has his die hard fans, but for the most part I sit on the fence when it comes to Rob Zombie. I’m not crazy about the guy but I do have to admit I enjoy his flicks. So it’s with that in mind that I come here today to tell you all about the latest update on Zombie’s next movie project!
Except unfortunately we have no idea what that project is! You see late last month Zombie hit his Twitter account with the following ‘tweet:’
H2 came out one year ago today. That was a quick year. Damn, I guess it’s time to start another film.
And a few days ago the horror filmmaker followed that up with this ‘tweet:’
Big movie news announcement coming soon. Finally.
So what in the world does that mean? No clue! Zombie has expressed interest in a number of projects within the last year, with his main focus seemingly being THE BLOB and TYRANNOSAURUS REX. But perhaps this announcement could be something completely different… How about HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES 2? Better yet DEVIL’S REJECTS 2! Or maybe with the success of MACHETE Zombie has decided to move forward with his WEREWOLF WOMEN OF THE SS feature? Perhaps he suddenly had the urge to adapt his comic series WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BARON VON SHOCK? And of course you can never rule out HALLOWEEN 3… The possibilites are endless but unfortunately we won’t know jack until Zombie decides to let us all in on his secret.
So what do you guys think? Is your gut telling you it’s one of the above mentioned projects? Hell maybe it’s something completely new?? Only time will tell… And as soon as Zombie decides to spill the beans we’ll be sure to let you all know!
