Way back in November we heard about a project heading our way based on the Platinum graphic novel NIGHTFALL. You guys remember me telling you about that shite? The thing looked like it had loads of potential then just seemed to disappear. Well folks, it seems the project is re-appearing today!
According to the fine folks over at Deadline New York NIGHTFALL has seemed to have found it’s director! So who’ll be stepping behind the camera for this little adventure? As if the title of this article didn’t give it away – none other than James f*cking Wan folks! The SAW director barely has INSIDIOUS in the can and is already getting ready to tackle his next project, very impressive. Unfortuantely there’s no telling if NIGHTFALL or CASTLEVANIA will be Wan’s next project but there’s no doubting he’ll tear it up with both films!
NIGHTFALL follows a man who finds out just how bad life can get when he discovers that the prison he just entered is controlled by vampires.
With Wan behind this thing I’m expecting all kinds of violent vampire action! Check out what Wan had to say to Deadline regarding the project:
“The minute I heard the concept, I was in. Reading the graphic novel cemented that. Like Saw, it’s a simple concept that, if executed properly, will be so cool.”
