Well here’s a project that has seemed to fly right under our noses… Did you guys know there was another ‘Jaws’ flick on the way? And no, I’m not talking about the rumored reboot. I’m talking about JAWS IN JAPAN! That’s right folks, it seems everybody’s favorite Great White Shark has gotten bored with US waters and has decided to test the waters out across the globe!
Now before we get all up in arms here, let me point out that JAWS IN JAPAN is not an official JAWS sequel, though it might as well be. All we really know about JAWS IN JAPAN is that it’s coming from director John Hijiri and stars Nonami Takizawa, Nakajima Airic and Mika Inagaki. I’ve also scrounged up a couple of ‘Making Of…’ videos over on YouTube from the feature. The videos can be found directly below and although they’re not in English, I’m pretty sure you’ll still get the just of it. Go ahead and check the videos out below to get a hint of what we might be in store for with JAWS IN JAPAN!

College students Miki and Mai arrive on a private beach on a tropical island. They can’t find the hotel where they booked their reservations and have gotten hopelessly lost until a handsome young man shows up, offering to take them to his lodge. But something is not right about the place. The owner’s fingernails are tainted with blood, and Miki feels something sinister lurking nearby.
