Alright seriously now… what is with “The Walking Dead?” Sure the thing is looking awesome but it doesn’t have to be shoved down our throats. The series is still a few months away from even kicking off and I think it’s already rivaling THE DARK KNIGHT in the number of articles we’ve written about it. Hell just yesterday we had three different “Walking Dead” stories! Three! And here I am just 24 hours later with loads more “Walking Dead” goods for you all!

Now we’ve got four seperate updates for you to check out today, all courtesy of AMC. First up it seems AMC are getting together a nifty little contest that’ll allow YOU to have a walk-on role in “The Walking Dead” Season 2! The sweepstakes offers up a four-day, three-night trip to the location of “The Walking Dead’s” Season 2 production, plus the opportunity to become one of the undead in a Season 2 episode of “The Walking Dead.” To enter all you’ve got to do is head right over HERE and fill out a form! Hurry though because this thing ends Sunday August 15th!

Next up we’ve got yet another interview from the set of “The Walking Dead.” This time we’re treated to the words of executive producer Gale Anne Hurd (above with Andrew Lincoln.) Mainly the producer talks about what attracted her to “The Walking Dead,” Comic-Con and the series’ possible future, among other things. Here’s a snippet of the interview but for the whole thing you’ll want to head right over HERE.

“…I love them, are you kidding?! I’m a genre girl from way back — this is my idea of heaven. Yesterday we were all looking at zombie bite tests Greg [Nicotero] created that almost made the videographer throw up, and all I could do was say, “That’s awesome, I love it!” I think that anyone who’s a fan of the genre or a fan of Robert Kirkman’s work will not be disappointed when they see the series.”

And lastly we’ve got two brand new videos from “The Walking Dead” for you guys to check out! Both videos can be found below and both videos are pretty damn awesome. First up we’ve got a tour of the set with “Walking Dead” creator Robert Kirkman. In the video the producer talks about walkie talkies, watching Andrew Lincoln portray Rick Grimes (“pretty handsome guy”), the intricacies of garbage placement, and getting in the way of zombies among other things. Then below that you’ll find a video of the brand new “Walking Dead” motion comic! See how it all begins when artist Tony Moore’s original artwork is brought to life by the animators at Juice Films and voice actor Phil LaMarr.

So there you have it folks. Loads of new “Walking Dead” goods to get caught up on. Be sure to keep it here for all your “Walking Dead” updates as we await it’s October premiere date.
