The complete disaster that is SCREAM 4 just keeps on rolling, doesn’t it? Classic snowball effect here folks. The thing just keeps on going and it’s growing out of control. Hell we just heard a bunch of gossip that had pissed off actors, a new screenwriter and the old scribe leaving the project. So what exactly is going on?
Well like everybody else, ShockTillYouDrop was wondering that exact same thing. Those guys recently got word from ‘a source close to production’ that yes, SCREAM 3 scribe Ehren Kruger has been brought on to work on the project but original writer Kevin Williamson is still very much a part of it. Apparently Williamson’s schedule was a little packed with the second season of “Vampire Diaries” so Kruger has come on to lessen the load so to speak. Apparently all that other jazz was just blown out of proportion thanks to the Lauren Graham departure but it seems her schedule for “Parenthood” just didn’t fit with SCREAM 4, or so says STYD’s source.
Of course this is just another rung on the SCREAM 4 gossip ladder so take it for what it’s worth. This new update does sound a lot more legit than that “Williamson off the project” jive so we’ll go ahead and run with it. Who knows, maybe things over in SCREAM 4 world are peachy and this crazy thing called the internet is the main problem. Fact is SCREAM 4 is currently filming and is still looking at an April 15, 2011 release date.
So it looks like Hayden Panettiere is sticking around .. at least for now…
