“Scream Queens 2” kicking off this August on VH1: First stills!

You guys remember that ‘genre reality show’ VH1 hosted not too long ago called “Scream Queens?”

Chances are you do, unfortunately. Well it’s no secret that we’ll be seeing a Season 2 of the series but until now we’ve had no idea when this thing was going to kick off. Guess what? We know now!

The series kicks off on VH1 starting August 2nd at 10 PM. This new season will once again see 10 gorgeous females battling it out to prove they’re the top choice for this year’s ‘Scream Queen.’ What does the winner get this go-around? A role in Lionsgate’s upcoming film SAW 3D (aka SAW VII)! One can assume that will of course lead to more genre roles, assuming the actress is A) Hot and B) Talented.

“Scream Queens” Season 2 sees 2001 MANIACS director Tim Sullivan and MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3-D star Jamie King joining the judging cast this time around. To celebrate the announcement a few stills from the upcoming season have also made their way online. You can go ahead and scroll away to check those out!

So mark it on your calenders folks: August 2nd sees the return of VH1’s “Scream Queens” for a second season! Now we’ll of course be keeping our eyes on this one so keep checking back for more as we hear it!
